Our sincere gratitude goes to the friends and family of Gail Benjamin, who have donated so generously in her memory. Arthur Benjamin, Gail's husband and friends and associates have played a major part in funding this rescue effort, and Gail's faithful poodle 'Buddy' is hoping to find a canine companion from amongst the dogs that are rescued from the disaster area.

- These cats were brought from the Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina. They were all up for adoption before the storm, and have no chance of being reunited with their original families.

I would like to contribute to your wonderful work in the Katrina pet rescue effort..
Our small family foundation has already contributed substantially to the local ARF and SPCA to help in their good works in this cause. Money, while obviously so necessary, is the far easier gift than the sacrifices of personal time away from home and family that you who do the real work give.
My wife and I now have 14 (5 dogs & 9 cats) animals at our home so it is not possible for us to take in more, but we can help with your expenses in a modest way.
